Gerald Louis Stein (born October 19, 1970 in Wilmington, Delaware) is a former American helicopter racing pilot notable for winning the title in his debut season in 1996, beating out compatriot Hank Bond-Hale by 8 points. Apart from Raymond Reid in the inaugural season in 1982, he is the only pilot to win the title as a rookie.

He carried on racing in the WHRC until 2007 when he retired to his native Delaware to become a hairbrush seller.

His career has saw him rack up 12 wins, the first being at the 1996 German Grand Prix and the last at the 2005 US Grand Prix.
