Harry McDonald (born August 2, 1974 in Selkirk, Scotland) is a retired Scottish pilot who unprecedentedly won the 1997 WHRC after Hank Bond-Hale failed to impress.

McDonald first appeared in the WHRC in 1992 at the British GP, aged just 17. The aspiring teenager went on to finish in fourth, scoring points on his debut. He would then score his first win at the French GP.

McDonald, after a few winless seasons, would cause the biggest shocker in WHRC history when Hank Bond-Hale began failing to score ... and the Scot went to beat him to the title! Was age getting the better of Bond-Hale? Surely not!

McDonald retired at the end of the 2000 season, proud of his world championship.
