Reuben Nicholas Chalkwell (born September 30, 1991 in Oakham, Rutland) is an English pilot who won the WHRC in 2013.

Career[]

Chalkwell burst onto the WHRC scene in 2010 when he debuted as a wildcard in the British GP. Despite retiring at the airfield when his helicopter broke down, he got a full-time seat for 2011 at Westland Helicopters and scored a handful of podiums. But 2013 was to be his lucky year. After winning for the first ever time in the 2012 South African GP, he dominated the 2013 season, winning seven out of ten races and not retiring from a single one. The defending champion Nino Iadanza didn't win any races.

Chalkwell is now the defending champion for 2014.
